Why the name “LOCOMOTIVE?”
Our name reflects who we are: reliable, powerful, and built to go the distance. It’s a nod to both where we come from and where we’re headed.
As we’ve evolved over the years, our team has grown, our services have expanded, and we’ve moved offices to support our momentum. But in every office, there has always been one constant — the sound of a locomotive in the background. In fact, our current space sits across from a working rail depot, and we hear the train whistle every day.
For our founder, Marty Martin, that sound runs even deeper. He grew up the son of a railroad worker. Some of his earliest memories include visits to the legendary Class J 611 locomotive, first with his father and later with his own son. Naming the agency LOCOMOTIVE isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about progress, purpose, and momentum, which is exactly how we approach every project and every partnership.
