Many of our clients have known this project has been in the works for quite some time, but as any company that’s been through a rebrand journey could tell you, there have been many twists and turns along the way.
What’s in a Name? For This Raleigh SEO Agency — Everything
The decision to change our name to LOCOMOTIVE Agency is part of our SEO agency’s evolution over the past seven years. Our team has grown and changed, and we have moved offices in and around Raleigh, NC multiple times to accommodate that change. Also, our current office is directly across from a working railroad depot. We regularly hear the loud blast of a locomotive whistle throughout the day as trains move up and down the rails. But our current location isn’t the only source of inspiration for our new name.
There’s also the fact that our CEO, Marty, grew up the son of a railroad employee. He has fond memories of visiting the revolutionary Class J 611 at the Virginia Museum of Transportation with his father, and when he became a parent — with his son.
We also believe the name LOCOMOTIVE is synonymous with moving things forward, and that’s exactly what we strive to do as an SEO agency.
